Water Indulgence

Massage and relaxation just in time for winter

Massage and relaxation just in time for winter! Saturday 1st November was a beautiful day and lots of money was raised. BIG thanks to Nerys, Angie and Micky who were our angels of neck and back massage, reflexology and reiki. Also thank you to everyone who was there to help and who made the delicious soups and fruit smoothies - Sarah P, Heather and Gaynor.

All the money raised from this event is going towards water projects in our area. People who donated chose what their money will go on. We raised £220 for water needs assessments in our area, £120 to fix boreholes and £30 to build up well surrounds. We were also given other unallocated donations, so our total for the day of massage and magic was £592 which is fantastic - and all for a day of pampering and relaxing!

£55 for a water needs assessment. We have done an assessment on one of our centres, and have 12 more to do. We now have the money to do 4 more thanks to Devina and Vijay, Heather and Nigel and Pip and Sarah M.

£20 fixes a bore hole (pump operated well) and we have the money to fix 6 more thanks to Sarah P, Sarah S, Ceri, Cheryl and Jo.

£15 builds up the well surround which is really important as if this is not there or damaged then all sorts of waste flows into the water that's collected in the well. We now have the money to build up 2 more well surrounds thanks to Liz and Gaynor.

We were also given other unallocated donations, so our total for the day of massage and magic was £592 which is fant
